SCHOOL WEEK

These past days have been going pretty good. I have an awesome teacher, so school is great. The only :( thing is that 5 best friends are in a different class. But,.... I do have 2 friends in my class this year(Anna and Ava, I'm talking about you:) )!!! Recess is awesome, all except Monkeyball. No, it is not a traditional game. It includes lots of people trying to throw a basketball from one side of the monkey bars to the other. It also includes a person on the monkey bars (namely me) getting hit on the head with the basketball. :( :( :( :(  Not fun, people. Anyway, school is pretty good, except for Monkeyball. BYEEEE J OUT

Thursday, September 1

Hey guys! Today is the first day of September!! I am really excited for school to start. I got the teacher that I wanted, so I am not so anti-school this year. LOL I went to a Joann Fabrics today and got some awesome pink fabric!! I turned it into a cute scarf with a pocket that I saw in a magazine. I really want winter to be here so I can wear it.

So cute, right!! I will probably use the rest to make a pillow or something. I got a few books at the library. One of the books that I am reading right now is the Pegasus series.I got one of them from the library and was reading it that night, and guess what?? IT WAS THE FOURTH BOOK. Not the first. I was kinda mad. Fortunately, the library has the second and third also, but not the first. I requested that one and hopefully, it will come soon. 

I know that I skipped a few weeks, but I am just going to forget those. Some important things: 

I participated in a kid's triatholon

I went to a Tigers game

I made 4 cushion forts

I had a friend over at the pool

Yay! Ok, so I will keep you posted on everything!! (pun intended)

Week of August 8-14

Hi people! Welcome to JLife!! This is my week!!!

                                           Monday

     On Monday, my sister and my dad went to Cedar Point. Wa-wa-waaaaaaaa. I didn't go with them, but my mom and I did some fun stuff. First, we went to the library. I got Yo-Kai Watch 1 and 2. Then we went to B-24's. I got a decaf latte, and it was cool. After that, we went to Rolling Hills Water Park for a few hours. (This is the link for the Rolling Hills website) I went on the green slide. That one is really fast and it gets water in your nose. We also went on the Lazy River most of the time. When we got home, I read my books that I got from the library. 

                                Tuesday

          I actually was bored most of the day on Tuesday. I went to the library with my sister because she has a job reshelving books.  I had a lot of books that I read. Usually when I go to the library, I get a lot of books and read them at the library. I was reading my books when my sis comes up with a permission slip for the Tigers game! Abi, my dad and I are going to the Tigers game. I'm really excited, but we get back around midnight, so I might be really tired the next day.

    

                            Thursday

       

        Thursday was a busy day. The morning was pretty relaxed, but my sister and I went to the library for her job. I got some books, then we went home at 11. Everyone had lunch, then we all went to a Ragbirds concert. They are like a rock band. I included their website so you can see when they might be coming near you! The concert was from 12-1, so we had time to go to our neighborhood pool. It is the Rutherford Pool. At 6:15, my grandma, my aunt, my sis and I went to the movie theater to see The Secret Life of Pets. I loved it.

Week of August 1-7

Hey guys!! This is JLife, and I'm J! My family did a lot of cool things this week!

                               Monday

 In our family's backyard, we have this long cable wire that goes across our whole backyard. In a big thunderstorm, it must have blown down. When I finally went outside, I saw that it was down, so I told Mom and Dad! Dad came outside with these pliers. He said that we had to cut it down because it wasn't being used. The fence that goes around our yard had a tree that was right next to the wire, so Dad climbed it. the tree was really tall, and he had to go out on a limb to get to the wire. Then, after Dad hat cut the wire, I tried to pull it, but I couldn't!! That was because a tree had grown AROUND IT!!!!!!!!! The tree had a small whole in it, and the wire went through it!! Then, the tree must have grown tighter, because there was no extra space! Dad had to cut the wire after it went through the tree! 

                                    Tuesday

We  didn't do anything interesting on Tuesday.

       Wednesday

      My sister had oral surgery on Wednesday. In the morning, my dad drove her to the oral surgeon's. Before she came home, Mom and I made the couch into a bed for her. A TV tray was next to the couch with a bell, a little pot of flowers, and a bowl full of ice cream on it. She had 4 wisdom teeth pulled and 2 bicuspids pulled, so she had picked out 4 movies to watch. It took Abi 4 days to recover, but now she is feeling normal. The movies she picked out were "Parential Guidance", "We Bought a Zoo", "Cheaper by the Dozen", and "Rising Stars". After her days of recovery, we got "Cheaper by the Dozen 2" from the library. 

                                 Thursday

          On Thursday, I spent most of the day at my friend Joey's house. At 11, she picked me up, and we drove to her house in Rochester Hills. Our lunch was Mac & Cheese. After that, we made a facial mask made out of avocados, milk, yogurt, and honey. If you want to make it, the recipe is 2 avocados, a half cup of yogurt, a tablespoon of honey, and a tablespoon of milk. Let sit on your face for about an hour. After the facial mask, we went to her neighborhood pool and hot tub. We mostly stayed in the hot tub. Then, we had tacos for dinner and my dad picked me up around 9 and we got home around 10. 

                                   Saturday

        On Saturday, we had a garage sale. Our garage sale started at 9, and ended at 12. We had lots of junk that we- mostly I- had contributed. We thought that we wouldn't get a lot of customers, so we also had cookies to sell. The cookies were shortbread cookies with chocolate pieces inside. I even bought a packet! Me and my neighbor, Lola, were outside for 3 hours but we didn't sell any of the stuff other than cookies. We only made $2.00! In 3 hours! That's ok. If we had anything left over, we were planning on giving it to Purple Heart. I guess Purple Heart will get a lot of stuff!
